The Forum for Accountability, a movement that has led the charge against the unfair payment treatment offered to National Service personnel by the National Service Secretariat, has once again come out to express their frustration on social media with the hashtag “the youth are fed up.”

The Forum for Accountability, which is led by Klenam Tamakloe, has been bold in its stance against the unbothered approach by the National Service Secretariat in paying their service personnel on time. The Secretariat has been called out as a dark horse against the well-being of personnel.

The new trend, “the youth are fed up,” has caught the attention of many Ghanaian youth to voice their concerns to the National Services Secretariat over the reluctance to pay personnel on time. Some sent some strict caution to the secretariat, telling them to take strategic action before most of the youth turn to armed robbery.

“If the youth in this country start engaging in social vices like armed robbery and stealing, don’t blame anyone; blame the government and those responsible for the NSS in Ghana,” said a Netizen on X.

The Forum for Accountability also outlined that the National Service Secretariat has messed things up to the extent that the youth do not have hope of making it in the country where 70% of the youth have it that the Ghanaian dream is to move abroad.
