Barely a month ago, floods hit Nawuni, a community along the White Volta in the Kumbungu district of the northern region displacing nearly four hundred residents.
The floods also destroyed crops and collapsed a number of houses in the community, forcing residents into a nearby school.
Though the floods have receded, they have left behind massive devastation that victims say will take them a while to overcome.
They are therefore appealing to government and philanthropic individuals and organizations to come to their aid.
