As part of efforts to fill the skills gap in Ghana’s fashion and textiles industries and also empower girls economically, a project known as Needles for Girls (N4G) has been launched in Tamale.
At the launch, wife of the Vice President, Madam Samira Bawumia encouraged young girls to seize the opportunity to be economically independent and fend for themselves.
533 young women have been registered to be trained.
