A fire broke out at a residential apartment in Accra New Town on Sunday afternoon, with firefighters battling to contain the blaze.
The blaze started on the first floor of a multi-storey building, with thick smoke seen billowing from the affected apartment.
Access to the floor proved difficult, prompting Ghana National Fire Service personnel to deploy a ladder to reach the affected area and intensify firefighting efforts.
A large crowd gathered at the scene as firefighters worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading.
Firefighters said efforts to contain the blaze were still underway, with no injuries reported so far.
