Some residents in the Northern region have appealed to the National Identification Authority (NIA) to extend the deadline for the NIA registration to enable more people to register.
According to the residents, the registration process is too slow and frustrating and that majority of people will miss out if the exercise ends on the 23rd of this month.
A visit to some centers saw long queues of residents who shared their frustration with GBC’s Radio Ghana.
