Pamela Djamson-Tettey appointed new MD for Ghana Airport Company Limited

The Board of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has appointed Madam Pamela Djamson-Tettey as the Managing Director of GACL effective February 18, 2022, at an emergency meeting held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

According to the press release, the Board also accepted the resignation of the former Managing Director, Mr. Yaw Kwakwa by the close day, February 17, 2022.

Madam Pamela Djamson-Tettey has earned herself a tall list of over 25 years of proven track record in Senior Management including 9 years in the Mining industry, 9 years in the Manufacturing sector, and 5 years in the Power Sector.

She is well networked with confidence approach and integrity, strategically astute, possesses a strong ability to build relationships, with excellent interpersonal communication and language skills. She also has excellent analytical skills with strong bias for political science, government relation, community relation, environment, international relations and diplomatic protocol.

Before her appointment, Pamela worked as the Executive Director and Director of Corporate Relations at Diageo Ghana – Guinness Ghana Breweries (GGBL) from 2001 to 2009.

Pamela holds a BA (cum laude) degree in international relations from the United States international university Herts, UK and San Diego California, USA (1982 – 1985), Postgraduate Diploma (Merit) Politics and Diplomacy, University of Kent, Canterbury, UK (1985 -1986) and an MA degree in international relations, University of Kent at Canterbury UK (1986 -1987).
