Paramount Chief of Tepa receives Chieftaincy Leadership Award from CenBA Graduate Institute

The Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem, has appealed to public-spirited individuals and companies, to see their contribution to the country’s development as a national priority.

He was speaking as a Special Guest at an event in Kumasi where he was honored with the Chieftaincy Leadership Award.

The award ceremony was organised by the CenBA Graduate Institute. About 45 individuals including Traditional Rulers and Corporate Organizations were honored for their contributions to national development.

They include the Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area, Nana Adusei Ampem, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, for Outstanding Leadership in the Electronic Media and Tasty Queen Restaurant, as the fastest growing restaurant in the Ashanti Region.

Kintampo Rural Bank was adjudged Outstanding Rural Bank in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions.

Oheneyere Gifty Anti urged the youth to see challenges as motivation to aspire for excellence.

Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem reminded the people that education is key to development of any society.

The Head of CenBA Graduate Institute, Stephen Fosu, said the award is to celebrate people who, in spite of the odds, contribute to the national development effort.
