Several months after the footbridges on the Madina-Adentan stretch were commissioned for use, it appears some recalcitrant pedestrians are still not using them.
Checks by Radio Ghana indicate that the footbridges at the Firestone and Madina Zongo Junction have been completed, but only a handful of pedestrians use them.
While the Redco Junction footbridge is still under construction. Our reporter Bridget Amewudo visited the sites and has filed this report.
Meanwhile, the MTTD at the Madina Divisional Command has disclosed that more than one hundred and sixty pedestrians were prosecuted in Accra last year for not using the footbridge.
