As COVID-19 cases in Ghana surge, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) joins the campaign of encouraging handwashing with soap under running water and the use of sanitizers to prevent the spread of the virus in the country.
At the entrance of the Corporation, a handwashing bucket (the Veronica bucket) has been provided to help staff and visitors wash their hands before entering the Broadcasting House.
The Corporation has also adopted routine temperature checks at its gates to detect the body temperature in case of fever, one of the symptoms of coronavirus.
