Police beef up security at Kasoa to curb rising crime rate

Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP, Habiba Twumasi Sarpong, has outlined new security guidelines for the Region.

These include intensification of patrols in and around the region and the deployment of personnel to assist the two divisions to help with operations.

Speaking at a media briefing DCOP, Habiba Twumasi Sarpong assured the people especially those in Kasoa of continuous Police commitment to protect and ensure their safety.

The Commander hinted of plans to mount tent cities within communities in Kasoa soon.

Her briefing comes after the Kasoa Divisional Police arrested a suspect Eric Asare (AKA Fanta Mogya) in connection with the murder and robbery of 45-year-old Stephen Entsi at Opeikuma Junction in Kasoa on the 31st March, this year.
