Police personnel from the National Headquarters will embark on a route march on some streets of Accra today September 21, to assure the public of their readiness to provide adequate security for the December polls.

A statement signed by Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Sheila Abeyie-Buckman said the march is to demonstrate the commitment and readiness of the Police to maintain Law and Order before, during and after the general election.

The Police administration is therefore entreating the public to cooperate with it, while personnel from the Motor Traffic and Transport Division are deployed to manage traffic during the route match.
