President Akufo-Addo charges Bawku Naaba to push for peace

President Akufo-Addo has appealed to the Bawku Naaba to help the government ensure there is peace in the area.

He bemoaned the cost of maintaining security as compared to peaceful coexistence in the Bawku area of the Upper East.

He expressed worry about the renewed conflict in Bawku.

The President made the point when he invited the Bawku Naaba Asigri Azorka Abugrago  and his elders to the Jubilee House for deliberation on the renewed conflict.

The violence as a result of the conflict has led to the ban of motor riding in the Bawku Municipality.
