President Akufo-Addo has reiterated his support for the burning of Excavators and other equipment used in illegal mining popularly called Galamsey.
He said those who think the act is illegal can seek legal redress.
President Akufo-Addo said this when he cut the sod for work to begin on a 55 million dollar new Ghana School of Law campus located at the Academic enclave near the University of Ghana Business school, Legon.
The President was emphatic that the devastation caused by this equipment is evil and no right can accrue from the criminal venture of galamsey.
