President Akufo-Addo has tasked State Owned Enterprises and joint venture companies to operate profitably and efficiently to expand their operations to create more employment in the country.
The President, who was speaking at a performance contract signing ceremony for specified organisations in Accra, charged the bodies including the state interests and governance authority, to work as a team to provide leadership for the next generation.
Nana Akufo-Addo said various policy reforms and frameworks are being drawn up to ensure profitability of state enterprises.
