The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso has asked Christians, particularly Ministers of the Gospel, to take their healthcare seriously. He stressed the need for them to make their health an utmost priority while delivering their Godly duties. Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso said this at the inauguration of the Doron Prestige Healthcare at the Head Office of the Assemblies of God in Accra. Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso said health is wealth and Christians must always endeavor to seek medical care while praying to God for total healing.
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Rev. Prof Paul Frimpong Manso expressed worry at the rate where young Ministers of God are dying of illnesses that could easily be avoided or controlled because they refuse to have regular medical check-ups. He insisted that there is nowhere in the bible that speaks against seeking medical care or undergoing regular checks as Christians. Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso admonished Ministers of God to learn to accept medical healing while they pray fervently to God for complete healing.
”I have always said that healthy people make up a healthy nation. So, let’s all do our best to support the government in the area of Ghanaians’ health and therefore I recommend Doron Prestige Healthcare. Come here for your regular check-ups, don’t get sick before you come. They are going you best of service and off cause all the staff are God-fearing. But let me emphasize that there is nowhere in the bible that tells us not to seek medical care, in fact, it is a lie. It is not scriptural and wrong. We can pray for healing but we can seek attention too and you are invited here”, he observed.
Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso asked the staff of the facility to be unique in delivering their mandate to save lives and make a difference.
