Secretary-General of the Trades Union Congress, TUC, Dr. Anthony Yaw Baah, has threatened an industrial action if the Daily National Minimum Wage is not pegged at the current inflation rate. He said the same should also be done for the Base Pay.

Speaking at a forum in Accra, Dr. Baah asked the Government to adjust salaries to meet the rising inflation in the country. He explained that the prices of goods and services go up whenever inflation rises hence the need to always increase salaries.
