Saglemi Affordable Housing case continues Jan 26, 2022

The Criminal Division of the Accra High Court has adjourned the case in which former Minister for Housing, Alhaji Collins Dauda and four others, standing trial for causing financial loss to the State to the 26th of January 2021. This is because the Court did not sit as the parties were directed per a notice to approach the registrar for date.

The two former Ministers of Works and Housing Alhaji Collins Dauda, Kweku Agyeman Mensah and three others have been arraigned in Court over the Saglemi Affordable Housing infractions. The five were charged on August 5 with 52 charges including Intentionally misapplying public property, causing financial loss to the state and issuing of false certificates in the Saglemi Affordable Housing project which involved the sum of $200 million.

They are currently on bail.
