SEHP trains women in quality shea nut picking and preservation

The Samira Empowerment & Humanitarian Projects,(SEHP), a not-for-profit organization established with the purpose of empowering the underprivileged in Ghana has trained one thousand two hundred, (1,200) women in quality shea nut picking and preservation, as part of the Shea Empowerment Initiative (SEI).

The women were drawn from the Wa, Gushiegu, West Mamprusi Municipalities and Kassena Nankana West District in the Upper West, Northern, North East and Upper East Regions, respectively.

The project is in partnership with Ghana EXIM Bank (GEXIM), under its Grassroots Initiative Development (GRID) project.
