The Treasurer of the Southern Ghana Union Conference, SGUC, of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, SDA, Pastor Dr. Bright Osei Yeboah has called on Christians to remain steadfast and faithful in every aspect of their lives.
Addressing the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mataheko District at their Annual Camp Meeting of the Accra City Conference held at Gomoa Kweikrom in the Central Region, Pastor Dr. Osei Yeboah emphasized that true Christianity is defined not by mere words but by unwavering faith that makes Christ a personal Saviour.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has once again convened its annual camp meetings, a time dedicated to spiritual renewal, fellowship, and training. Each year, the gathering draws thousands of members who come together to strengthen their faith through prayer, Bible study, and inspiring sermons.
Beyond worship, the camp meeting also provides a platform for leadership development, health education, and evangelism, equipping believers to live out their Christian mission. This year’s camp meeting was held under the theme: “Called to Be Faithful – Commandments of God and Faith of Jesus.”
Speaking at the 2025 Annual Camp meeting, Pastor Dr. Bright Osei Yeboah noted that the camp meeting is not only a celebration of faith but also a call for believers to recommit themselves to God’s work and to uphold unity in the church.
In an interview with GBC News, the Head Pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mataheko District, Pastor Francis Nana Takyi emphasized the importance of obedience.

He noted that if Ghanaians live by the laws, society will be better. He further added that obedience is the fruit of faith, and true faith is praising God even in the storm.
The five-day camp meeting concluded with a consecration service, supported by Pastor Francis Nana Takyi, Pastor Michael Owusu Afriyie, Pastor Dr. Timothy Yeboah, Pastor Isaiah Gideon Morrison, Pastor Dr. Bright Osei Yeboah, and Pastor Martin Owusu Bonsu.
