Sex for grades: Two UG lecturers implicated in alleged BBC documentary

Many have heard of the yet to be premiered BBC documentary on how some lecturers in Public Universities in West Africa take advantage of female students in exchange for grades.
Professor Ransford Gyampo of the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana has also been allegedly implicated in the BBC documentary
Snippets of the ‘Sex for Grades’ documentary which will be premiered later today (October 7), also shows another lecturer from the University of Ghana, Dr Paul Kwame Butakor of the College of Education allegedly begging a journalist who posed as a final year student seeking for admission to do a Masters programme to be her side guy.
The year-long investigation which featured the University of Ghana and the University of Lagos in Nigeria also captured another lecturer from the University of Lagos who is also a pastor.
University professors harassing female students for grades has been going on for years but this is the first time it has been properly documented.
University authorities are yet to make any comments as we all wait for the full documentary this evening.

Professor Ransford Gyampo has denied the allegations and threatened legal actions.
