The Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, says he has no power to investigate and prosecute financial and economic crimes, citing the Power Distribution Services (PDS) case.
He said section 79 of the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act, 2017 (Act 959) puts very limited jurisdiction on his office.
