The discussion on sperm donation over the years has been little spoken about since there was little or no knowledge about it.

Sperm and Egg donation few days ago has become the most spoken-about topic in Ghana, when a lady who goes by the name Abena Manokekame took to social media to write that Sperm and Egg donors are needed for an amount of money.

It will interest you to know the number of youth who called to show interest, considering the current economic hardship in the country.

In her submission on the Breakfast on Wednesday 18, 2023, she noted.

“I have a child, someone out there cannot have a kid like I was able to, and so how then do we help that person?” she questioned.

She went on to say that her post that went viral was more of a survey than an actual tension.

She said she has an interest in helping people who cannot have their own babies through artificial insemination.

Abena Manokekame added that although people may criticize initiative from the moral and religious angle she is only interested in the intervention.

She clarified that a token is given to sperm donors.
