At the end of a two-day IPAC review workshop on the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections, the Committee and the Electoral commission have issued a communique proposing recommendations for reforms.
The recommendations will cover the process of registration, exhibition, filing of nominations, voting and security.
These recommendations among others were agreed on by the EC and IPAC.
They will be subject to further deliberations, prior to their acceptance.
The chairperson of the electoral commission Mrs. Jean Mensa was satisfied with the turn of events.
The workshop is part of the EC’s commitment to strengthen and deepen Ghana’s electoral processes and elections in the country.
