A study conducted in seven districts to assess the implementation of the National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Policy on small holder farmers has identified the lack of funding, coordination and capacity building as major drawbacks in implementing the two documents.
Disseminating the research findings at a workshop in Accra, the Researcher, Dr. Antwi-Boasiako Amoah of the Climate Change Unit of the EPA, said funding for implementing the documents are mostly from donors and this hinders the objectives set out in addressing climate change issues.
