The one-week observance for the late former First Lady of Ghana, Mrs. Theresa Kufuor, is currently taking place in Peduase, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Mourners, dressed in somber attire, have congregated at the residence of former President John Agyekum Kufuor in Peduase to participate in the commemorative rituals.
This significant ceremony has drawn the presence of numerous high-profile dignitaries, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, government Ministers, as well as family and friends who have gathered to pay their respects.
Mrs. Theresa Kufuor, the beloved wife of former President J.A. Kufuor, passed on at the age of 87 on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
The one-week observance stands as a solemn occasion in honour of her memory.
