Today marks exactly six years since a fire and flood disaster claimed more than 150 lives at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

What started as a normal rain, saw people seek refuge in various places including the Goil Fuel Station which later exploded killing almost everyone within that area and around.

Many including children were washed away by the floods. After six years, what has changed?

Has affected families been compensated? Has the Odaw drain issue been resolved? We will bring you more on this in our subsequent bulletins.
