Tsopoli: Family of three shot and burnt by unknown assailants

A family of three, comprising a husband, Kwao Addo 54, his wife, Delali Tetteh, 40 and their three-year-old child have been shot dead and burnt at Tsopoli by unknown assailants.

The incident happened yesterday (September 12) around 8pm at Zutsukpo, a farming community near Tsopoli, in the Ningo-Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region.

The Ningo-Prampram Municipal Police Commander, DSP Mohammed Issah Kantoona, told GBC’s Radio Ghana that, the three, who were going to fetch water in the bush, are suspected to have been shot dead and later set ablaze in their pick-up vehicle with registration number GW-8970-V.

He said all the three were burnt beyond recognition.

DSP Kantoona said they are relying on residents  for information to help with investigations and subsequent arrest of the perpetrators.
