The Chief Executive of the National Ambulance Service, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakaria, has recommended to the University of Cape Coast, UCC to establish an Emergency Response System that would ensure basic live support to people and connect the University to the Communities.

This initiative he says, would help the fight against needless deaths as a result of lack of systems and support.

If realized, the University of Cape Coast will be the first Higher academic institution in the country to establish such systems and would receive support from the national ambulance service.

Prof. Nuhu Zackaria, made the recommendation at the inauguration of an Ambulance station for the Directorate of the University of Cape Coast.
