In line with its digitalization policy, government has officially launched an online portal for the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat.
The portal which will be operational from Wednesday, April 1, will enable applicants apply for a scholarship online from the comfort of their homes.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia who launched the online portal at the Jubilee House said GETFUND and the Scholarship Secretariat have earmarked ¢80 million for the 2020/2021 Academic Year, adding that beneficiaries for the year are expected to increase from the current 30 thousand to 70 thousand applicants.
