The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commissioned 21 new envoys, who have been appointed by him, to be Ambassadors and High Commissioners of the Republic of Ghana abroad.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Jubilee House in Accra.
President Akufo-Addo congratulated the envoys and urged them to do their best at their duty posts.
He also charged them to strengthen and deepen ties of cooperation and bonds of friendship.
“No country can afford to go it alone,” he said in his address on Wednesday, June 2.
