Police have confirmed town folks have handed over two suspects to them following the death of a 16-year-old boy whose body was discovered at Tongo-Dzemeni, in south Dayi District of the Volta Region.

Father of the deceased, Frank Dorgbadzi told Ghana News Agency that about 8am, on November 1, 2019, the boys’ stepmother sent him on an errand in Tongor-Dzemeni but did not return.

Mr. Dorgbazi said that he raised a public alarm in search of the boy and on November 2, 2019, while he was at a funeral at Wusuta, he had a call that his son had been found dead.

A source in the told GNA that the body of the boy was found at the lorry station, trapped in between two containers with blood oozing out his mouth and nose and you could see blood on the two containers and on the ground and another blood in front of another container, which is not far from where the body was trapped, and this shows that the boy was killed by someone.

The source said they informed Kpalime-Duga police who came and conveyed the body to Peki Government Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
