The Volta Regional Police Command is on a manhunt for one Frank, Suspect of the murder of his girlfriend known as Lizzy at Fiave a suburb of Ho, the regional capital. Frank is suspected to have murdered Lizzy and deposited her body in his refrigerator.
A statement signed by the Regional Police PRO, DSP Efia Tenge said about 9:00am on Monday, November 22, 2021, the Police received information from Ho-Fiave that neighbours around the crime scene observed there was a strong stench emanating from Frank’s room with house flies hovering around the windows and door. They broke into the room and found the girlfriend of the said tenant only known as Lizzy, dead in a double-decker refrigerator. Both Frank and Lizzy are purported to be workers at an unnamed hotel in Ho.
An investigative team proceeded to the crime scene and after careful inspection, the remains of Lizzy which was at an advanced state of decomposition in a white double-decker refrigerator was conveyed to the Ho Municipal Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
Meanwhile, the Police has begun a search to trace and arrest Frank who is said to be on a run and has been declared wanted.
