Government says it will soon assess the Kperisi Shea Butter Processing Facility in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region for possible inclusion under its One District One Factory Programme.
Managers of the facility have therefore been urged to put in place the necessary structures to enable it to qualify for the assessment.
The Wa Municipal Assembly has also been directed to extend electricity to the facility as quickly as possible to fast track the process.
Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih stated this when he interacted with Shea Butter Processing Women Group’s, as part of his working visit to selected Districts and Municipalities in the region.
