Media, Brands And Culture Specialist, Kwesi Kyei Darkwah has said that the Operation Clean Your Frontage Agenda is very necessary and should be done on a daily basis.
He said the Greater Accra Regional Minister seems to be doing what the Mayor has to be doing.
KKD explained that the ineffectiveness of the Metropolitan and Municipal authorities have made the city look the way it is – where is the Mayor? he questioned.
“Once you are elevated into government, you need to do your work…there are too many people in the Public Service doing absolutely nothing”, he stated.

He advised that the Mayor should go to Parliament and look for legislation that can empower the Assembly to employ people, so that revenue that has been collected from fines for breaching the law, will be used to pay those who ensure that the recalcitrant are not there in the first place.
“Anyone who cannot clean 10 feet radius around where they sell should be made to pay some fine because it is their responsibility.”
