World Vision Ghana donates Personal Protective Clothing to Krachi West Municipal Hospital

World Vision Ghana in the Krachi West Municipality in line with their activities to help fight and control diseases among children has donated hospital items to Krachi West Municipal Hospital to be used to protect health workers who risk their lives to save lives.

World Vision Ghana has been of help to the hospital since its establishment and also played a key role in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Presenting the items to the Municipal Hospital, Mr. Joshua Baidoo, who is the Southern Regional Operational Manager of World Vision Ghana, said, ”the items are to be used to protect frontline workers who risk their lives to protect others”.

He said when the doctors and nurses are protected, he believes that they will have the confidence to work to protect the patients in their facility.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Hospital was the Administrator, Mr. Jacobs Amegatsey.

He thanked World Vision Ghana for their support to the hospital.

In all, a total of 200 boxes of Protective Clothing were presented to the Hospitals in the Oti Region.

Hospitals to benefit from the items are the Krachi Nchumuru district Hospital, Jasikan Hospital which also serves as the Regional Hospital in Oti region, Nkwanta North and Kadjebi.
