The Spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu, says any nation that loses its young people is doomed.

According to him, the youth are the vital segment (engine) of every society, so losing them means you have no future.

“Talk of energy, the strength of body, longevity, minds that can be tap into for the future, these are those that make a nation great,” he noted.

Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu made this observation on GTV Breakfast Show.

“If the youth sees the future with no hope and yet cannot see the light, and a certain country or people give them a sense of hope that things are better out there, they will easily leave and go maybe what they are told is not wholly true,” he explained on Thursday, May 12, 2022.

He claimed that Ghana’s economy is a “push-out type which pushes out the youth because the condition is not conducive enough to return even those we train. Beyond 70 years on earth, what is the vitality level of the body,” Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu quizzed?
