We are building on waterways but see nothing wrong with it, if the environment has a mouth, she would speak.

Climate change, global warming, and ozone depletion are beckoning. The garbage you threw in the gutter last night, you knew it wasn’t right but you never bothered, if the environment had a mouth, she would speak.

We have cleared our tropical rain forest without thinking of reafforestation. Do you know in the period of 100 years, Ghana has lost 80% of its forest cover? Fishermen are now catching more plastics than fish, if the environment had a mouth, she would speak.

You see clean rivers and pollute them with chemicals and machines, a call to action is NOW. When the last tree dies, the last man dies, so should we wait for the last tree to die before we take action? NO. Let us all help save the environment.

This poem is about our planet, home, habitat, continual existence, floods, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes. My planet, your planet, our planet is in pain and her pain is through the gates of its inhabitants.

This poem is to transform quickly the way we produce food, electricity in a sustainable way that respects our homes and planet and to encourage nations and continents to scheme up efforts for climate change mitigation. Am calling on you players of Africa and non-state actors to rise up and act”.
