22 Agogo State College students arrested

About 22 students of the Agogo State College in the Asante Akim North District of Ashanti Region have been arrested by police for rioting.
The students, including 18 females, according to the police, are suspected leaders of the protest which took place at the school on Monday.
The students were protesting on water shortage and a meeting held by the committee made up of the Regional Education Director and the District Chief Executive ordered the immediate closure of the school.
