It says like all humans, the late president had his flaws but he leaves behind a lot that current and future generations can ponder over. The paper wishes the family of the late president, the government and people of Zimbabwe its heartfelt condolences.

As the world mourns the late former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, the Ghanaian Times sees his contributions to humanity as a mixed blessing and inexhaustible. It says though the western countries may not see any good in the late Mugabe because of some of his policies, especially his controversial land reform agenda, the late Mugabe is most revered in Africa as reflected in tributes from leaders across the continent. It calls on Zimbabweans to forgive him for his past deeds and come together and accord him a befitting burial.
