Residents of Kasseh in the Ada East District, have appealed to government to provide the Community with potable water.
According to them, the Town presently depends heavily on water tanker supply services, even though the source of the water supplied is not known.
In an interview with GBC Radio Ghana in Tema, a resident, Godwin Nyakpenu, said although pipelines were laid in the Community some years back, the situation persists because according to him, the tubes used were not fit for purpose.
He said residents have to walk for more than five kilometers to neighbouring communities to access potable water, a situation Mr. Nyakpenu claims has resulted in the execution of shoddy projects.
