AMA Boss inspects sanitary conditions in Accra

The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Accra, Mohammed Adjei Sowah has begun an inspection of sanitary conditions in the city.

The inspection, which started during the early hours of Wednesday, June 3, forms part of efforts by AMA and its stakeholders to achieve President Akufo-Addo’s vision of making Accra the cleanest city.

Areas visited so far include the Central Business District (CBD) of Accra, the Cocoa Marketing Board (CMB) Head Office the Jamestown Beach, Lavenda Hill, Dansoman High Street, Glefe, Hansonic, Odorkor, Mallam Junction, Awoshie Baah Yard, Anyaa.

In an interaction with some sanitation workers, the Mayor acknowledged their role in ensuring a clean Accra cannot be overemphasised and commended them for their service to the nation.

Other areas the Mayor is expected to visit include Achimota, Madina, Adenta, Accra-Tema Motorway, La and Nungua among others.
