Interior Minister Mubarak Muntaka has warned that applicants who ignore their assigned screening time for the 2025 Internal Security Service recruitment will be immediately disqualified, stressing that strict compliance is necessary to ensure order and safety.

‎Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Friday November 14, 2025, he said system will automatically assign applicants to specific centres and time slots stressing that reporting outside the assigned time will not be tolerated.

‎According to the minister, the new recruitment system is designed to promote fairness, safety, and transparency indicating that every applicant will be able to track their applicationfrom registration to screening, medicals, and final admission directly on their mobile phone. He said this digital approach will prevent misinformation and ensure that applicants know exactly when and where to appear.

‎To avoid excluding people in areas with poor network connectivity, the ministry has opened additional channels for accessing forms at commercial bank branches and Ghana Post offices nationwide.

‎Mr. Muntaka also announced that the recruitment has been broadened to include artisans such as electricians, painters, carpenters and fitters. The age limit for craftsmen has been extended to 35, while other categories have also seen adjustments to ensure more qualified people can apply.

‎He urged young people not to rely on individuals claiming they can help them bypass the official process. “The only way to get in is to apply and go through the proper procedures,no one can get you through any other means.” he said.
