The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled an official mascot named Asantewaa, “the fearless” . Asantewaa was unveiled alongside the logo of the Women’s Football Strategy.
The new mascot represents inclusiveness and product diversity.
Ghana’s Women’s Football Strategy which was launched in July 2023 is a three year programme aimed at developing the women’s game at the grassroots level.
The strategy which is headed by Ama Brobbeh Williamson, head of Women’s Football Development aims at enhancing and developing a brand strategy for the women’s game.
