The Black Volta River Bridge on the Wenchi-Bamboi road in the Northern Region would be closed to motorists from September 20 to 27, at 0600 hours.
This is to enable the Bridge Maintenance Unit of the Ghana Highway Authority to carry out repair works.
In a statement signed by the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta,on Friday, gave alternate routes on the N12 as Techiman to Wenchi through Tingakrom-Banda Ahenkro to Bui-Banda Nkwanta/Teselima or from Techiman to Kintampo-Fufulso Junction to Wa.
The statement urged the public to bear with the Ministry as it carries out the necessary repair works.
It advised motorists to adhere to directional and safety signs that would be placed at appropriate sections of the road.
