The 7th edition of the Rugby League 13s Men’s Championship ignites on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the University of Ghana Rugby League field, promising one of the fiercest battles in the league’s history.
Six powerhouse clubs, Bulls Rugby League Club (RLC), Skolars RLC, Nungua Tigers RLC, Accra Panthers RLC, Titans RLC, and Dragons RLC, will clash for supremacy.
Bulls and Skolars, each with three championship crowns, enter deadlocked at the top, eyeing a historic fourth title to claim outright dominance in this high-stakes season.

The format ramps up the drama with a two-round, all-play-all structure, where every team faces off twice. The top finisher grabs an automatic grand final berth, while second and third duke it out in a playoff for the other spot.
This setup rewards steady performers but leaves room for underdogs to surge late, keeping fans on edge through fortnightly Sunday triple-headers and sizzling Friday night games from 6pm to 11pm.
Opening day sets a blistering pace: Bulls RLC tackles Titans RLC at 12pm, signaling the giants’ intent; Dragons RLC squares off against Nungua Tigers RLC at 2pm, with both hungry for early momentum; and the marquee clash caps it at 4pm as Accra Panthers RLC tests title favorite Skolars RLC.

These fixtures aren’t just for points—they’re talent scouts for Ghana’s July international friendly against Cambridge University, turning every tackle into a national team audition.
Greater Accra Rugby League Association President Emmanuel Okyne-Tetteh emphasized the event’s deeper impact.
“This championship transcends trophies; it’s our pipeline for unearthing stars and building Ghana rugby’s future amid global opportunities,” he said.
While Bulls and Skolars loom large, the playoff wildcard means Nungua Tigers, Accra Panthers, Titans, and Dragons could shatter predictions.
From April to October, expect raw intensity, shocking twists, and maybe a new king on the block.
