CIMG launches 34th annual awards to reward deserving organizations

The Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana, has launched the 34th CIMG Annual National Marketing Performance Awards in Accra.

The awards are held to create awareness about the relevance of marketing for the success of business, promote higher professional marketing standards and excellence among practitioners, and to recognize deserving organizations for showing resilience in the year under review.

The awards have been used to set standards for the practice of marketing in Ghana. Launching the awards, the President of CIMG, Dr. Daniel Kasser Tee said the competitive world of business has placed marketers in a space to drive business growth.

He said the award has stood the test of time and so far, the best in the country.

“The CIMG is by far the longest-standing and most credible awards in the country, and we are proud to have celebrated deserving awardees over 33 years now.

Adding on, Dr. Kasser Tee, said “It’s a prestigious event and remains a cornerstone of our institute’s mandate to set standards for the practicing of marketing in Ghana.”

The Chairman of the Awards Planning and Selection Committee, Theodore Osae, said the award processes are transparent and fair. He said it is designed to improve organizational and professional performance.

“There is no denying that the scheme has incredibly evolved into what could be considered Ghana’s benchmark awards scheme. There have been several Landmark accomplishments which has greatly contributed towards improvement in organizational and professional performances and especially for practicing marketers.”
