The Coffee Federation of Ghana (CFG), has called on government to as a matter of urgency honour its commitment of increasing investment and transforming the coffee industry to save it from collapse.
At a media briefing in Accra, President of the Association, Chief Nat Nsarko said coffee farmers do not get the needed support especially the supply of seedlings as enjoyed by other cash crop farmers.
He called on government to entrust coffee to COCOBOD and task them to work directly with the value chain players to enable the Federation to get the recognition it deserves.
