Signals have been popping up about fuel diversion and smuggling at the Tema Port and on the high seas.
Unfortunately, these are happening in areas where there are security personnel to check and prevent smuggling.
GBC’s Radio Ghana’s checks at the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers indicate that the phenomenon has been with the country involving top officials who engage in the smuggling thereby denying the people and the state the needed revenue.
Executive Secretary of the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, Duncan Amoah confirmed this to GBC’s Radio Ghana.
