Ghana commended for foreign investor-friendly policies

President Akufo-Addo on August 13, 2020, made a whistle-stop at Zonda Tec, Manufacturers Sino trucks, one of the companies assembling cars in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo while returning from the inauguration of ultra-modern Entrepreneurship centre and Greenhouses at Dawenya in the Greater Accra region paid an unannounced visit to get first-hand information on the company’s work.

Chief Executive Officer of Zonda Tec Ghana, Madam Yang Yang, commended President Akufo-Addo’s Government for its foreign investor-friendly policies.

Describing him as a “promise keeper—and one who honours his promise”, Madam Yang Yang said, President Akufo-Addo over the last three-and-a-half years, had made Ghana very attractive to investors and assured that the country will continue to attract huge investment from the investment community.

Madam Yang Yang who was impressed with President Akufo-Addo’s interest in the growth of the private sector, said “foreign investors appreciate the investor-friendly policies of your government.”

She took the President, who was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto (MP), the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, and officials at the Presidency, round the various activities of the company.

Madam Yang Yang said Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd is committed to training the Ghanaian with the up-to-date technology in vehicle maintenance, and the transfer of skills and technology to them.
