Ghana Stock Exchange bounces back despite ravaging effect of COVID-19

The Ghana Stock Exchange, GSE is bouncing back with a year to date return at almost 14 percent.

Despite the ravaging effect of COVID-19, Ghana’s equities market has been phenomenal, becoming Africa’s best performing stock market to date.

The last time the market attained such feat was in 2017 when the GSE emerged the best performing market with a year to date return of 52.73 percent.

Speaking at the virtual Ring the Bell Gender Equality Program, Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange, Ekow Afedzie said the time to invest on the stock market is now.
